1. Security Policy
ECIA NSW/ACT considers the security of your information to be of paramount importance. When you pay your membership fees or register for an event, our system uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to connect to our payment gateway provider, which encrypts all the information sent from your PC. The following indicates that you have entered a secure session:
1. the "https" in place of the usual "http" in your browser address box
2. the small padlock at the foot of your browser
Both of these secure indicators will be present when you are requested to enter your credit card details.
Instant SSL Certification
ECIA NSW/ACT has an SSL certificate. This identifies a secure environment in which you can transact. To view details of our security certificate, please click on the padlock in your browser footer.
Our payment gateway is 'SecurePay', which uses 128 bit DES encryption right through to the bank networks where credit card transactions are automatically processed. You can obtain further technical information about our payment gateway by visiting our supplier's site: www.securepay.com.au.
2. Delivery Policy
After registering for an event online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your purchase details (if you have provided your email address), normally within a few minutes of your completing your payment.
We will attempt to email your event registration confirmation within 24 hours.

All payments must be made at least 5 days prior to an event.
3. Refund Policy
An administration fee of $50 will be charged for any cancellations made up to 10 working days before the conference.
No refunds will be given for non-attendance or cancellation made less than 10 working days before the conference but another named person may attend the conference as a replacement by notifying the ECIA NSW in writing
In the event that ECIA NSW cancels a conference for any reason, the conference fees paid will be refunded in full.
3.2. Other events (including Professional Development)
No refunds will be given for non-attendance or cancellation made less than 10 working days before the event but another named person may attend the event as a replacement by notifying the ECIA NSW/ACT in writing.
In the event that ECIA NSW/ACT cancels an event for any reason, the registration fees paid will be refunded in full. ECIA NSW/ACT is unable to refund out of pocket expenses for accommodation or travel costs.
4. Currency of Pricing
All pricing is expressed in AUD (Australian Dollars).
