Seeking an energetic General Manager for Hunter Prelude Early Intervention Centre, who will build on the previous success of this wonderful NFP.  Hunter Prelude EIC makes a difference in the lives of hundreds of local/regional families by providing therapeutic and non-therapeutic supports to young children with disability / developmental delays and their families. 

With a passion for helping families, they are committed to delivering best practice services in the most effective and efficient way. As provides early childhood development services, our client is operating within the NDIS environment.

About the role

The General Manager will be responsible for the leadership, service delivery and financial management of the organisation. They will mentor and support the team to deliver superior services and inspire innovation. The GM will have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and ensure compliance.

 The GM will work within and uphold the vision, mission, values, philosophy and standards of the organization. They will have outstanding communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to get things done.

Skills and experience

Selection Criteria - Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in people leadership in change environments
  • Demonstrates understanding of team work
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge, experience & skills in service deliveryDemonstrated skills in working in partnership with community, health, educational, family services or other organisations;
  • Awareness around financial sustainability and financial management principles
  • Computer literacy including a sound understanding of the use of Microsoft Office

Selection Criteria – Desirable:

  • Knowledge of NDIS & Early Childhood Development Standards
  • Experience working with children and families from culturally diverse backgrounds;
  • Knowledge of, and experience in, family-centred and strength based approaches to early intervention;
