An exciting opportunity for an occupational therapist to work at well-established paediatric private practice in Sutherland Shire!

  •  Part time expending to Full Time
  •  Position available from 1 June 2018

Are you an occupational therapist who is passionate about working with children and developing new skills?  Would you like to learn more on how to support children’s skill development, confidence and self esteem?   Are you keen to develop good understanding of how to use Sensory Integration theory in occupational therapy?

This position provides an exciting opportunity for a clinician who demonstrates excellent time management and communication skills.

Our practice is located in Bangor (Sutherland Shire) and we provide a wide range of services to children with learning difficulties, Sensory Processing Disorders, Autism, Genetic and other developmental disorders.  We work very closely with families, recognising the importance of their contribution to a child’s learning and development.

The position will commence in June.

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Enthusiasm and passion for working with children and developing a career in Paediatric Occupational Therapy
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Current driver’s license and use of own car
  • Clinical paediatric experience through undergraduate placement, or graduate employment is highly desirable
  • Own professional indemnity cover
  • Current Working with Children Check

Additional Criteria

  • Experience in working with children with learning difficulties and developmental disorders
